Bragg Creek Trails is super pleased to acknowledge the recent $10,000 donation from our West Bragg neighbour, Pieridae Energy. Pieridae acquired all of Shell Canada’s midstream and upstream assets in the southern Alberta Foothills in 2019. With this donation, Pieridae demonstrates its commitment to working with local communities, much as Shell has done in the past.
Special thanks goes to Board member and dedicated volunteer David (DNA) Cebuliak, who made the contact with Pieridae Chief Operating Officer Tim DeFrietas. David acknowledges two other Pieridae contacts, Lead Production Maintenance Operator Brian Bellamy and External Relations Advisor Colin Anton.
Pieridae was also generous in allowing us to use a portion of their pipeline right of way and a bridge, for the re-route of the Mountain View West trail. They even re decked the bridge for us, David reports.
The $10,000 donation went towards our acquisition of Erica, the Snow Rabbit. A huge thank you for that.
