MMTR is a breathtaking 16KM, 29KM, 42KM & new in 2021, the inaugural 50KM, solo mountain trail race event in the Kananaskis Country park system, Alberta.
West Bragg Creek recreational area (start & finish line) ascends from rolling prairie, through the foothills and is home to 152km of gorgeous community built trails. This spectacular terrain will journey runners through an adventure of forested single & double track with an 8000 foot backdrop of the stunning Moose Mountain, the highest peak in this mountain range.
Lewiston Ultra Events is beyond honored to continue the traditions of Moose Mountain Trail Races (established in 1992) and host an exceptional run experience and give back to Love for Lewiston & community.
Lewiston Ultra Events are inspired by Lewiston James Olstad and community. Lewiston reminded us to squeeze a little harder, love a little longer and savor the moments we tend to wish away. Lewiston was small and mighty and encouraged community to rise up, persevere and run towards the roar.
