Accessible Runs and Hikes

Bragg Creek Trails are excellent for all weather activity. Their location at the eastern edge of the foothills, makes this trail network ideal for foot travel during the spring and fall shoulder seasons.  The WBC trails are often snow-free when other areas are snow covered. Limited snowfalls, frequent Chinooks and machine packing of snow means that WBC trails are usually excellent for winter hiking.  BCT has trails for every ability. Some begginner friendly trails include Interpretive Trail, Snowshoe Hare and West Crystal Singletrack. BCT also offers acessible wide trails like Mountain Road, West Crystal Line, West Meadow-Tom Snow, Hostel Loop and East Telephone.

Running at Bragg Creek

Bragg Creek Trails offers trail runners a network of single track trails that wind and roll through dense forests. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful morning run or a challenging adventure, Bragg Creek Trails provides a variety of routes that cater to all levels, all while immersing you in the beauty of nature.

Meet Kat and Scotty

FAVOURITE TRAIL: West Crystal Line and ‘The Beach’.

On days off from her work in service design, Kat loves to ski in West Bragg while pulling Scotty in the pug. Lucky Scotty! In the summer they enjoy walks on West Crystal Line. Scotty is also big on beach time by Bragg Creek. We see new bikes and skis coming soon to Scotty’s wish list
