October 2021 Trail Maintenance Days
Volunteer signing up for these trail days, will require a bike or to ride their horses to the work site.
Where To Meet: Trail Centre — W. Bragg Creek Trailhead Parking Lot
What To Bring: sturdy, ankle high footwear with hiking tread –NO BIKE SHOES OR RUNNERS. Also: water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, face mask if you wish to wear one – not mandatory, sunglasses, work gloves, pants, jacket, and a long-sleeved shirt. Plan for an entire day away and varied weather conditions.
What To Expect: we will be building, repairing, and maintaining trails using a variety of techniques and tools.
Please ensure you read the points below so we can all be safe while volunteering.
- Do not register or arrive for a trail day if you have symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, painful swallowing, chills, headache, muscle or joint aches, sudden loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or unexplained loss of appetite, conjunctivitis Pink Eye or any feeling of unwell or fatigue.
- Have been in direct contact with anyone with the above symptoms or who has had COVID 19 in the last 10 days, of the start of your volunteer shift.
- Have travelled outside of Canada within the past 14 days and have been requested by Canada Border Services Agency to mandatory self isolate.
- Have tested positive for Covid within the last 14 days.
