The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association (GBCTA) received the Alberta Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Group Spirit of Community Leadership on October 27, 2018. The award was presented by Lieutenant Governor Lois Mitchell at the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association Conference Awards Banquet at Jasper Park Lodge.
Shelley Shea, Rocky View County Recreation Board West Member nominated the GBCTA for the award based on our trail building accomplishments in the Bragg Creek area. Conrad Schiebel, President, GBCTA and Eric Lloyd, Director, GBCTA accepted the award on behalf of GBCTA volunteer leaders, volunteers and financial supporters.
