Update on our campaign to buy a Snow Rabbit!
What a weekend we had of stellar cross-country skiing conditions! The skiers were out in droves enjoying the expertly and freshly groomed tracks! Christmas came early and October 25th felt like December 25th!
To support our grooming operation, we are joining the big leagues with the purchase of an $180,000 Snow Rabbit! This is huge for us! Generous support from some major donors provides for a large portion of the purchase and key to giving us the confidence to commit to the purchase of this machine. But we need additional funds for the balance and so that we keep our finances strong.
Thus, we need your donations to get us to the finish line!
This fundraiser was kicked off last week and it is going well! Thank you so much to all who have already donated. We have been very encouraged by the generosity that we have seen so far. If you have not yet donated, please imagine the joy that our trails bring to you and others. Imagine how great the ski trails will be with this new machine. Imagine all the volunteer effort that goes into building and maintaining the trails and the WBC trails operation. Imagine how much these trails are loved by skiers, fat bikers, trail runners and winter hikers.
The GBCTA is a registered Canadian charity. You will receive a charitable income tax receipt for donations over $20 provided you supply us with your name, mailing address and email address.
