We are exploring the development of a new, permanent BCT Trail Centre and we want to hear from you.
The proposed BCT Trail Centre is envisioned as a welcoming, year round hub that supports trail users, volunteers and the broader community.
The current concept includes a two-storey building with space for gatherings, meeting rooms, indoor washrooms, a small kitchen, trail host and staff workspace, equipment storage, and an information and merchandise area. Sustainability is a core focus, with plans for solar power, energy efficient heating and cooling and responsible water and wastewater systems.
West Bragg Creek is the largest public use trail system in Western Canada, yet it remains the only system of its size without a permanent Trail Centre.
Your input is a critical part of this process. The BCT Trail Centre Engagement Survey is now open and we encourage all trail users and community members to share their thoughts.
