Michelle Dice – Executive Director

A born and raised Calgarian, Michelle has spent most of her life living and playing in the mountains to the west. What started as a child with her family camping, hiking and canoeing all over Canada has evolved into a love of all things mountains. Michelle spends her free time hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding, some of which she does better than others but any day outside is a good day. Michelle brings with her a Bachelors in Business Management and Strategic Planning and over 10 years of experience leading Not-for-Profit organizations. She loves meeting new people, building community and what better place to do it than the amazing trails system in the Bragg Creek Area.

Pete Irwin – Lead Trail Crew Team

Born in Calgary, Pete spent most of his time growing up in the outdoors with the majority of that time spent in Kananaskis country. Hiking, scrambling, bouldering, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing are among his favorite activities. Initially he started doing maintenance on trails he frequented, and later became involved with mountain bike trail building in the Elbow valley and West Bragg Creek areas. Pete joined the Friends of Kananaskis in 2013 to help with repairing and rebuilding the trails and infrastructure destroyed by the flood, and has been the Friends Volunteer of the Year numerous times. Pete’s work with Bragg Creek Trails includes trail maintenance and fat bike grooming. He is married with two daughters.

Ed Reynolds – Lead Fat Bike Groomer

Ed moved to Bragg Creek in 2006 to be near the mountains. By 2012 his two daughters were somewhat independent, freeing up time to support his Mountain Bike addiction by repairing and maintaining trails around Bragg Creek. From 2015-2017 Ed was a GBCTA (BCT) Crew Leader and led the introduction of Fatbike Grooming at West Bragg Creek. Due to work commitments Ed paused his volunteering in 2017, but returned to BCT in 2021 as Head AST Groomer. Ed spends his free time mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. After a decade in the British Army as an Infantry Officer he loves to dig dirt, lead and organize teams, and project manage trail work. Ed has a Masters in Business Administration and spent 15 years working for an international ground engineering and environmental services company, ending his career as Head of Global Procurement before retiring in 2020.
